We got confirmation yesterday that we will be headed to Cincinnati on December 13th to start Robbie's surgeries to fix his imperferated anus. We don't have the itinerary yet but on December 13th we start the process of running tests to see what strategy they want to use. With this first surgery we are planning on being out there for about 2 weeks, but it could be less depending on what procedures they have to do. We are both excited and very nervous for this to happen, but know that it has to be done so that Robbie can lead a life without a colostomy bag. Our hope is that all the muscles and parts are where they need to be and the doctors can go in and get this fixed with no problems. We will continue to keep people updated once we get the itinerary from Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
