Day Care Begins

Today was Robbie first day at day care and things went very well. Michelle said that he was a little fussy at times but really did a good job of sleeping and loved being in her swing. Saree and I both had meetings all day and not being around Robbie is going to take some getting used to. When I picked him up today he was just happy as could be in Michelle's arms and seemed to enjoy his new friends. Robbie is at day care with two little boys, both about 2 years old, and a little girl who is going to be 1 soon. We go back tomorrow for a full day of meetings and then Saree has softball pictures.

Uncle Zach, Aunt Rachel and Grammy are going to spend the night tomorrow because Zach flies out for Kiev, Ukraine at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. Zach signed with a team in Kiev and will begin another season across the Atlantic. Tomorrow we have a big night of watching the Kansas City Chiefs preseason game.

  1. You mean a big night of watching your Chiefs get pounced by the Atlanta Falcons...just kidding as you know what type of team the Falcons have had over the many years.

Glad to hear Robbie seems to be making a very nice transition to his new normal routine. Although I know it is very difficult for you guys to be away from him, a big smile on his face when you picked him up had to feel good.

    Love you all!

  2. Mike and Saree,
I am so glad that everything is going well!! I know how hard it is to send them to daycare for the first week. You are so fortunate that you know he is in great care while you are gone! I hope softball goes well for you Saree and if either of you need anything during the fall just give us a call. We might see you at the track Mike, sounds like Andy would like us to visit practice a couple times a week so that he can at least see Endsley for an hour a day!
