Update: Wednesday, August 4th

We had a very good trip to Arkansas and got back last night. A trip that used to take about 7 1/2 hours now takes 10 hours. Our little adventure included a stop in Thayer, Missouri at Wal-Mart because Saree left her power cord for her pump in Arkansas. After that stop we made it to Springfield and because of a heat index of 115 degrees we stopped at Pet Smart to walk the dogs around the store and feed Robbie. Our last stop was just past Worlds of Fun in Kansas City because Robbie was melting down because he was hungry again. Robbie was really good again in the car on such a long trip.

We might head out tonight and watch the Kansas City Chiefs practice at 7:15 p.m. The Chiefs are doing their preseason training camp here in St. Joseph at Missouri Western. All the sports talk guys say this is the best practice of the preseason to go to. The weather is actually bearable today and Robbie just loves being outside.

We are still waiting to have our records sent from Children's Mercy to the Children's Hospital of Cincinnati. The nurse in Cincinnati said they will let us know the day they receive the records. From everything that we have gathered, once the records get there things start to move pretty quick. We will make sure that we keep everyone updated on the status of our trip to Cincinnati.
