Saturday was the first ever "Round For Robbie" golf tournament at Paradise Point Golf Course in Smithville, MO and it was a huge success. There were 59 golfers (14 teams) that took part in the tournament and countless volunteers and others that just came out to show their support for Robbie.There were also over 35 hole sponsers for the tournament Along with the golf tournament there was a Silent Auction and 50/50 Raffle to help us with all of Robbie's medical expenses and travel costs.
The weather for the evnet was perfect and the course was in good shape considering that they got 3 inches of rain the day before. Robbie was able to stay in the clubhouse and just be the star of the show again, going from table to table and entertaining everyone.
There is no way that we can tell everyone how grateful we are for their support. It makes us feel very lucky to have so many great people that care about us and our little guy. To have such a great group of friends and family will help us get through everything that we have to in the future. Thank you to everyone that took part in this event, especially Mick Koch who was the person who got this event started.
